Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to many traditional music as well as older Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos and drama and opera. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. As a student and being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She has been involved with a number of local projects, both as a teacher and performer because of her love for music and arts. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
